Membership in the East Michigan Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association provides you with a valuable resource for keeping current on developments in environmental rules, regulations, and technology in Michigan. If you live or work in Eastern Michigan, this Chapter is your organization for obtaining a better understanding of the problems of air pollution control, waste management, and related environmental concerns as they impact your business or community. Membership is open to anyone interested in these fields, and has traditionally included government regulators, researchers, educators, industry, consultants, and the general public.
The East Michigan Chapter is affiliated with the International Air & Waste Management Association, which was founded in 1907. Like the International, the Chapter is a non-profit technical and educational organization. Membership in the International automatically provides you with membership in both the Section and the Chapter. However, the East Michigan Chapter is independent and you can select to be a member of only the Chapter.

There are two convenient ways to become a member of the East Michigan Chapter. First, you can complete the on-line membership renewal/application; you can pay online with PayPal or you can opt to mail a check. Secondly, you can apply for membership at any of the Chapter meetings or events.
Chapter membership is only $30 ($10 per year for full-time students, subject to verification).
