To take full advantage of this time with the permit engineer, it is recommended you bring detailed information about your project with you to the session. This training is designed for first-time air permit applicants who need help completing their permit application; however, those who have applied before and need a refresher are welcome to attend as well.

September 22, 2007 ~ 8:00 AM - lunch

Members, friends and families of the East Michigan Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association and the Michigan State Student Chapter are participating in the annual Fall Clean – Up of the Grand River in the Lansing area.  This is an excellent opportunity to meet other members, enjoy the outdoors and improve the environment! Lunch is being provided.

This Adopt A River event is sponsored by the Impression 5 Science Center and the Lansing Board of Water & Light and is described as follows:

River cleanup headquarters is now located at Impression 5 Science Center along the   Riverwalk at 200 Museum Drive in Lansing.  The partnership will provide new opportunities to broaden and enhance the program, including free admission to Impression 5 Science Center the day of river cleanups for Adopt A River volunteers.  Impression 5 will focus its Super Saturday exhibits on learning about ecology and the environment on those days. Since the program began, Adopt A River volunteers have cleared literally tons of litter and junk from our rivers and river banks. Adopt A River volunteers are a major reason why these Lansing resources are being returned to their natural beauty.
